VST3AU

speedgarageToolz is a sample-based instrument with 162 presets, built with Paul Sirrell. Warps, reeses, donks, 808s, subs, rolling basses, garage stabs, dusty pianos, organs, 24 pads, a sax, airhorns and sirens. If it belongs in a speed garage track, it's in here.

Every preset is played, not programmed on the fly: Paul's own sound library, multisampled and dropped into one plugin with six knobs and a preset browser. Pick a bank, pick a sound, play. 44.1kHz stereo samples, mono by design, no velocity layers to fight with.

🔊 Features

162 PRESETS: six banks: bass (67), keys (18), pads (24), organ (13), other (7), fx (33).
PRESET BROWSER: categories on the left, sounds on the right, PREV and NEXT to walk through. Heart a preset and it lands in favs.
FILTER: cut the top off or sweep it open.
DRIVE: clean to properly mean. Shoves level into the saturator and pulls some back out, so it reads as cranked rather than fuzzy.
DELAY + TIME: tempo-synced delay when you want movement.
CHARACTER: ages the sound instead of distorting it. Bit depth drops away, the top end rolls off from 20k down to 5k, a soft glue holds what's left together. Level-matched, so it never gets louder, it gets older.
REVERB: Paul's room. A touch on by default on everything except the basses. Turn it up or off.
ENVELOPE: attack, decay, sustain and release on four faders, with the curve drawn next to them. Tight stab or long sustain.
GLIDE + TRANSPOSE: mono-synth portamento between notes, octave up or down in one click.
RESIZABLE UI: drag the corner, make it fit.
LOW CPU

Compatibility: VST3 / AU for Windows 10+ & macOS 10.13+. Intel and Apple Silicon. Works in any DAW that loads VST3 / AU (Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Bitwig, Studio One, etc.).

Made with Paul Sirrell

Paul has been making speed garage and bassline for years, and his sample packs are the ones producers actually use. For speedgarageToolz he built every instrument himself: the bass patches, the stabs, the organs, the pads and the FX, then we sampled them and put them behind one browser.

100% royalty-free. Use these sounds in your own releases. Put them in a track, sign it, sell it.

162 Presets. Every Sound In Speed Garage.

Six banks, 162 sounds, all built by Paul Sirrell. 67 basses: warps, reeses, donks, 808s, subs and rolling basses. 18 keys: garage stabs, dusty pianos and the house chord. 24 pads for the breakdown. 13 organs. 7 others, including the sax and the whistle. 33 FX: airhorns, sirens, lazers, the drop, the phone call. Banked so you always know where you're reaching.

Six Knobs. One Envelope. Done.

FILTER shapes it, DRIVE pushes it, DELAY and TIME move it, REVERB puts it in the room. CHARACTER ages it: the bit depth drops, the top rolls off, and a soft glue pulls it back together without getting louder. Then four faders for attack, decay, sustain and release, with the curve drawn right next to them. Glide and transpose live on the screen. No menus, no pages. Turn, play, done.
