downloads, license keys, installing & making belters. sorted. something actually broken? try troubleshooting.

where are my downloads and license key?

Right after checkout you get an instant download link by email (also check your spam / promotions folder). That link opens your download portal, and everything lives in there: the installer, and for chordBox, phatPress, pianoToolz and bassBox your license key as a .txt file next to it. give it a few minutes, and a little longer for PayPal orders.

which plugins need a license key?

chordBox, phatPress, pianoToolz and bassBox use a license key you enter on first load. you'll find it in your download portal, in a .txt file right next to the installer. garageToolz, 90sDrumz and the free sample pack need no key at all. drag, drop, done.

what formats and systems do you support?

VST3 and AU, on macOS and Windows (64-bit). Works in all major DAWs: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Bitwig and more.

what are the system requirements?

plugins run on Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later — pianoToolz needs macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs are supported, 4GB RAM and up, VST3 / AU (64-bit). sample packs like 90sDrumz and the free pack have no special requirements — any DAW or player that reads WAV. if your laptop runs a DAW, it runs our stuff.

my plugin isn't making any sound

load it on an instrument / midi track with the track armed, then check the samples actually installed — the sounds are a separate library from the plugin file, so no samples means the plugin opens, takes midi, and makes nothing. full step-by-step, including what to do when the samples are there and it's still silent: troubleshooting.

macOS won't open the installer or plugin

That's macOS Gatekeeper being cautious. Right-click (or Control-click) the installer and choose Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open anyway.

if it still won't load, or your DAW marks it invalid, see troubleshooting.

Windows blocked it (SmartScreen)

Click More infoRun anyway. It's just Windows being careful with new files.

the plugin isn't showing in my DAW

Make sure it's in your VST3 / AU folder, then rescan your plugins and restart your DAW. In Logic, open the Plug-in Manager and re-run validation.

still nothing? the custom-folder trap and AU vs VST3 are covered on the troubleshooting page.

do I get updates?

Yes, updates are free, and your presets carry over between versions.

I'm on a new machine, can I re-activate?

Yes. Your license key works across your machines, and it's always sitting in your download portal if you need to grab it again. If you ever hit a limit, just reach out and we'll sort it.

what's your refund policy?

Because these are instant digital downloads, we can't refund once a product has been downloaded. If something isn't working, contact us first, we'll get you sorted.

can I use the sounds in my own releases?

Yes, everything is 100% royalty-free. Make belters, release them, no strings.
