Hey. Before you dive into the sounds — take a quick read. This is the legal stuff that covers how belterbox plugins and sample packs work. We've kept it as short and human as possible.

By downloading or using any belterbox product, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the product — simple.

01 — What You're Getting

When you buy a belterbox plugin or sample pack, you're getting a licence to use it — not ownership of the software itself. Your licence is:

• Personal — for your use only, on your own machines
• Non-exclusive — other people can licence the same product
• Non-transferable — you can't sell or give it to someone else
• Worldwide — use it wherever you make music

Unless stated otherwise, your licence is perpetual once purchased. Make belters forever.

02 — What You Can and Can't Do

You CAN:

• Use the plugin or sample pack in your own music productions
• Use sample packs in commercial releases (unless stated otherwise in the specific product description)
• Install plugins on multiple machines you personally own and use

You CANNOT:

• Resell, redistribute, or share the plugin files or licence keys
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code
• Rent, lease, or sublicence the software to anyone else
• Repackage or reupload sample content as your own sample pack
• Use the software to build a competing product
• Mess with security features or copy protection — don't even try it

03 — Licence Keys & Serial Numbers

For plugins that require a serial number, your key is tied to you. Keep it safe.

• Don't share your serial number publicly or with others
• If your key is lost or stolen due to misuse, we're not liable for that
• Licence transfers are not supported unless explicitly offered as an option

04 — Refunds

Digital products are tricky. Once you've downloaded and accessed the files, we can't take them back — which is why our general policy is no refunds on downloaded purchases.

That said, we're human. If something went seriously wrong on our end (wrong product sent, technical issue we can't fix), reach out to support@belterbox.eu and we'll sort it.

Accidental purchases that haven't been downloaded may be eligible for a refund at our discretion. Just get in touch quickly.

05 — Intellectual Property

Everything in a belterbox product — the sounds, the code, the UI, the design — belongs to belterbox. Buying a licence doesn't change that.

VST is a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. AU is a trademark of Apple Inc. These and any other third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Got ideas? Found a bug? Told us what you want next? Love it. Keep it coming.

Any feedback you share with us may be used to improve our products. You're not giving up any rights to your own music — just helping us make better tools for it.

07 — No Warranties

belterbox products are provided as-is. We make them with care and test them properly, but we can't guarantee they'll work perfectly in every setup, every DAW, every OS configuration.

We disclaim all implied warranties to the extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Use them at your own risk — we think you'll be fine.

08 — Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event something goes wrong, belterbox's total liability to you won't exceed what you paid for the product in question.

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — like lost sessions, missed deadlines, or a track that just wasn't a banger. (We believe in you though.)

09 — Termination

We can terminate your licence without warning if you:

• Violate these terms
• Attempt to pirate, crack, or redistribute belterbox products
• Abuse our support team (please don't)

On termination, you must stop using the software and delete it from your systems.

10 — Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled in the Dutch courts, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country say otherwise.

11 — Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of belterbox products after changes means you accept the new terms.
